Getting the body moving again after a trauma…🙏

➡️ Trauma can arise in many different ways: Often in early childhood situations in which a person was exposed to intense emotional or physical stress.

But even later in life, certain events – accidents, losses, violence, or other traumatic experiences – can leave traumatic scars.

➡️ These experiences can leave deep wounds that affect not only the mind but also the body. Trauma therapy aims to identify, process, and heal these wounds by addressing the person as a whole – with all their feelings, thoughts, and physical reactions.

🤝 A central method in trauma therapy is the bodywork of “Somatic Experiencing.” Trauma leaves its mark not only on the mind but also on the body, for example, in the form of chronic tension or restricted mobility.

Through targeted bodywork, the body can be brought back to feeling and movement. Those affected learn to perceive their body in a new way, giving memories stored in a triturated way a new image and restoring mobility. 🌊

I am currently completing a fantastic training program at the Polarity Institute in Switzerland to become a trauma therapist specializing in “Somatic Experiencing” and look forward to incorporating these elements into my future work. 💪💚

Furthermore, this training will develop even better observation skills and a sensitivity for the individual, which naturally plays a central role in every training and everyday business.

I look forward to meeting you and supporting you!
